Dr David Harrigan, DC

Dr. Harrigan has now been a part of the Palmercare family for over a year. Dr. David Harrigan received his degree in chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College in 1987. He started his own private practic in New Jersey the following year. He maintained that practice until he moved to Virginia where he operated his own private practice.

He is married with 4 children and is raising 2 cats and 2 dogs.

Dr. Harrigan is also a licensed acupuncturist.

Dr. Nicholas R. Summerfelt

Dr. Nicholas R. Summerfelt (or as he prefers, “Dr. Nick”) is a 2014 graduate of the University of Iowa, and a 2020 graduate of Palmer College - Davenport. He is a first generation chiropractor. Dr. Nick was born in Ames, IA and raised in Chambersburg, PA. After graduating from Palmer in February 2020, Dr. Nick moved back to south central Pennsylvania and practiced for two and half years in his hometown before accepting a job with Palmercare Chiropractic Lovettsville.

Growing up playing basketball and lacrosse, Dr. Nick has always had an affinity for wellness and living a healthy lifestyle. After graduating from The University of Iowa with a degree in Health & Human Physiology, he chose the chiropractic profession for its focus on the significance of looking at the body as a whole and not the sum of its parts. Dr. Nick has the right non-invasive technique to fit your needs, and specializes in Diversified technique, Activator technique, Gonstead technique, drop technique, and Flexion Distraction technique. He is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and is certified in Webster’s technique for prenatal care. Dr. Nick has treated 8-day olds to 88-year olds, and is looking forward to serving the Lovettsville community!

When not working Dr. Nick enjoys exercising, reading, hiking, watching his Iowa Hawkeyes (Go Hawks!), and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Heather Voss, LMT

Heather Voss, LMT, began her career in 2007, after graduating from the Cayce Reilly School of Massage. Here, she studied a variety of modalities, including Neuromuscular Therapy, Reflexology, Acupressure, Craniosacral, Myofascial, Prenatal, and Swedish Massage. She also studied, the trademark Cayce/Reilly Massage, which combines components of Deep, Local, Neuropathic, Osteopathic, Spinal, and Swedish Massage techniques.

She strives to provide, a client centered and customized therapeutic experience, by utilizing these complimentary techniques. Whether you require, focused therapeutic work or simply wish to relax, she can modify the massage to suit your needs. Her integrative and personalized approach, ensures that you will enjoy, a uniquely tailored massage experience!

Dr Jeremy Wroten, DC

Dr. Jeremy was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He spent many years as a professional musician and piano instructor before enrolling in chiropractic school at the age of 38 following a transformative experience with chiropractic. He graduated with honors from Life Chiropractic College West in December 2018. He moved to Lovettsville with his wife and four children in June of 2020 to become a part of the amazing growth and passion of Palmercare Lovettsville. Dr. Jeremy has a passion for extremities adjusting and helping each patient reach their full potential.

Dan Parrish, L. Ac.

Dan Parrish has been practicing Chinese Medicine for 25 years and is a graduate of the Maryland University of Integrative Health. For the last 16 years Dan has run the student clinic for their Chinese Herb Program.

Winner of numerous Loudoun Favorite Acupuncturist Awards, Dan practices both Five Element, Traditional Chinese Medicine and is Nationally certified through NCCAOM.

Dan has raised his family in the Lovettsville Community and is happy to bring his practice to his hometown. When he is not treating clients Dan is either playing soccer or running Creative Stages, his performing arts developmental program that connects top young talents with mentors in the Broadway community for training and networking. He very much looks forward to treating his neighbors for all their health and wellness needs.

Haley Parker L.Ac

Dr. Haley is a Virginia State Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, a New Mexico State Board Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Diplomat in Oriental Medicine certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and is certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) in clean needle technique.

Dr. Haley received her Master’s Degree in The Science of Oriental Medicine from the prestigious Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico graduating at the top of her class. As part of her clinical training, Dr. Haley practiced at an integrative medical setting at the Santa Fe Indian Hospital, where she specialized in arthritis, back pain, allergies, and diabetes. Dr. Haley’s other clinical expertise includes woman’s health from her time working at the Santa Fe Woman’s Center and the gynecology department of the Heilong Integrative University Hospital in Harbin, China. During her time in China, Dr. Haley also worked with the cancer and post-stroke patients, as well as other neurology patients.

Post-graduation, Dr. Haley started her own business and private practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She worked extensively with patients suffering from psycho-emotional disorders, anxiety, depression, and addiction. Dr. Haley’s background as a Division 1, Varsity athlete contributed to her successful strategy working with student-athletes on sports-related psychologically, competitive performance, and nutritional aspects for their athletic training. Dr. Haley’s passion for athletics and physical fitness continued to serve her as she worked as the resident acupuncturist at the prominent El Gancho Racquet and Fitness Club in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She had success treating joint and back pain, tendonitis, and metabolic disorders aiding in weight-loss programs, prior to her working as the acupuncturist on Princess Cruise Lines for the last 5 years.

Her experience has given her the opportunity to treat patients all over the world and globally study health and wellness strategies. Dr. Haley feels extremely fortunate to be able to have changed the lives of her patients by relieving them of their health concerns within the short duration of just one cruise. Her method of treatment encouraged the body to jump-start its own natural healing processes for a better quality of life. Her patients’ conditions have ranged from pain conditions such as sciatic pain, back pain, joint injuries, and arthritis to terminal cancer pain, post-stroke paraplegia, weight-loss, digestive disorders, and facial rejuvenation.

Dr. Haley is thrilled to join the team here at the Chiropractic Family Health Centre while she is pursuing her specialty in sports medicine acupuncture and continuing her certification as a Natural Health Practitioner.

Dr Curtis Margerum, DC

Dr. Curtis C. Margerum, D.C. was born in Mayville, ND. He grew up in Minnesota and was active in football, basketball, baseball and track in high school. He also participated in choir, band and drama. He went on to play baseball at both Moorhead State University and the University of North Dakota. From there he attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN graduating in 1990.

He has been in practice for the last 26 years in Alexandria, Virginia and loving every minute of it. He has helped countless number of patients through the years. He has skills in many chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Activator, Thompson Drop and Cox Flexion Distraction.

He recently joined the Palmercare Chiropractic group which serves Northern Virginia in eight different locations. He is constantly attending seminars and meetings to continue to better himself for the benefit of his patients. His main goal is to provide the chiropractic experience which is above and beyond the patients’ expectations.
